Lachlan Johnson is the Executive Manager Construction, Contracts & Operations at The City of Port Phillip in inner city Melbourne. Lachlan is responsible for the delivery of municipal operations, capital design and delivery, transforming the City’s waste and recycling services, procurement, contract management and fleet. Lachlan has a passion for technology and innovation. He was fortunate to receive the 2019 Municipal Engineering Foundation (Victoria) scholarship, along with two colleagues, and travel throughout North America learning about how local governments enabled innovation through the use of technology. Lachlan is a civil engineer who holds a MBA from the Melbourne Business School.
