Lydia Thomas

Lydia Thomas has been working as a Professional Engineer in the Sustainability and Resilience team since 2019. She is a graduate from RMIT in 2018 with a Bachelor degree in Environmental Engineering (Honours), majoring in Chemical Engineering. The most recent projects Lydia has worked on include her involvement in the research of recycled materials- glass, plastics and crumb rubber. The projects are NACoE WARRIP recycled plastics, recycled glass in asphalt for councils and Austroads, the Victorian Ports Cooperation Melbourne site audit and Project 5K for the Department of Transport. She has also gained both technical knowledge and experience by assisting in ARRB’s laboratory. Lydia has also had the opportunity to manage a project for the Traffic Management Association of Australia where she was able to deliver on time, on budget and received an excellent feedback from the client.
