Bev Merrett

Bev is a sustainable change strategist, facilitator and coach with twenty five years of experience working in and around local government and the wider public sector. Bev started out as a Town Planner and quickly evolved into organisational development with a keen focus on delivering efficient and effective services that meet stakeholder needs in a sustainable way. Bev has worked with more than 18 municipalities across Victoria gaining experience in strategic sustainability, integrated planning and reporting, regional service collaboration, service reviews and continuous improvement, employee development, stakeholder engagement and vision and strategy development. Bev is currently working with the City of Greater Geelong on strategic implementation of the Sustainability Framework, Action Plan and Policy. Bev’s role has included establishment of a new Sustainability Advisory Committee comprising 12 community members with exceptional sustainability experience, expertise and passion, to help create a more sustainable future for all.
